Korea Gas Corporation to invest 10 trillion won (U$S 8 B) in new investment by 2025, creating 90,000 jobs

○ KOGAS announced its long-term management plan, KOGAS 2025, which contains the following  challenging management strategy,

△ to support the success of the government’s energy conversion policy by enhancing the competitiveness of the natural gas industry,

△ to create environment-friendly new demands such as hydrogen and LNG bunkering △ to improve publicity through job creation and social value implementation,

△ to reorganize overseas business, to enter overseas business with private companies,

△ to lead open and collaborative technology development. The government will make concrete plans through consultation with the government.

The plan includes securing a future growth engine by investing KRW 1 trillion in the construction of a value chain for the hydrogen field and the eco-friendly fuel conversion business of fuel cells, LNG bunkering, and LNG vans.
