SCANIA Argentina presents the first LNG trucks for the Argentine Market

Global Gas Mobility, technical advisers on Gas Mobility to Scania Argentina, speaks to the Argentine Gas Regulatory Authority (ENARGAS),  during the event that introduced the first LNG trucks that have been authorized for sale in the Argentine market. Authorities and CNG department staff were shown one of the six units that will run in the province of Mendoza.

The trucks will be used in the LNG virtual pipeline that carries natural gas from low production wells to a gas fired power plant in Anchoris, Mendoza. Natural gas is liquefied on site at the wells using Galileo Cryobox liquefaction units. The virtual pipeline is also operated by Galileo, and they will also take care of the supply of LNG to the Scania trucks.

These units have been homologated under UNECE R-110 by RDW and fall under the new Enargas standard NAG 451. Additional information can be requested to info@globalgasmobility.com
